About
"We don't turn anyone away. Anyone who comes to get trained, we can figure it out."
- Jennifer Boddie quoted in article for local paper, "The News."
Boddie Family Boxing Academy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing young people with quality training and a safe, supportive place to stay active, build confidence, and develop positive relationships.
Some of our athletes come to us after experiencing bullying. They are not looking to fight - they want the confidence, discipline, and skills to protect themselves if necessary. Through boxing, young people learn that true strength is demonstrated through self-control, sound judgment, and respect for others. "If you know you can, you don't, and if they know you can, they won't" (from article by Daniel Canfield in The News).

Mission Statement
To empower youth and families in Rio Linda, Del Paso Heights, and North Sacramento by leveraging trauma-informed athletic mentorship, crisis stabilization, and financial literacy to build multi-generational wealth and long-term economic resilience.
Vision
Our vision is to build a thriving, interconnected ecosystem where neighborhood trauma is converted into multi-generational stability, financial health, leadership, and wealth.

Agility Training
Throughout the week, we work on agility training. With the use of a few tools like jump boxes and ladders painted on the ground, kids train to move like a boxer. Our coaches work wonders with kids, bringing them out of their shells while teaching them the respect that goes with the sport. Come test your abilities!

1 -On- 1 Attention
Throughout each group training session, each boxer receives individual attention, encouragement, and direction. Also, the team-mentality of Boddie Family Boxing means that new students can rely on and emulate other boxers.
