About Us

Boddie Family Boxing Academy is based in our small town, Rio Linda, California. Our daughter is a two-time boxing champion, holding belts from the Jr. Olympics and Nationals. We have trained our kids from a young age to have discipline and respect for the sport, themselves and others. Noticing a lack of activities in our hometown, our family created a safe, family friendly gym for kids. We have set goals for our Academy that reach outside of the gym, including a contract with the local school district to offer free training for any student, a program for our boxers to feed the homeless, and an amazing 4 week summer camp for kids TK - 8th grade (also free for TRUSD students).
